Plattjen (2,570 m above sea level) is an excursion destination above Saas-Fee. Here it is stony, rough and exceptionally wild. But it is not only because of the landscape that we call Plattjen a wild mountain. Early in the morning, you have the best chance of spotting impressive wild animals such as ibex and chamois. Hiking and via ferrata enthusiasts, in particular, get their full enjoyment up here.
The Plattjen cable car will be closed in summer 2024.
