On 20 and 21 April, the first test ride for locals and tourists took place, combined with the small opening of the new Hannig Restaurant. This event marked a significant moment for the region and gave guests the opportunity to experience both the latest gastronomic offerings and the improved transport options.

In a constant endeavour to expand the tourist offer and increase the attractiveness of the region, Saas-Fee/Saastal and Brig Simplon are pleased to announce an innovative addition to their hiking portfolio: the alpine hut hike from Saas-Fee through the Zwischbergental to Domodossola.
The 2022/23 financial year ended successfully with a total of 1.22 million overnight stays. However, the most significant result is due to the implementation of important projects such as securing the SaastalCard product for the next four years, the realisation of the e-bus concept and the further development of the mountain bike product.
