Thanks to its high-alpine and southern location, the Saas Valley enjoys exceptional sunshine – more than 300 days a year. Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen!

The Saas Valley offers 18 four-thousanders, SAC huts, alpine tours, gorges, via ferratas, a rope park and bouldering spots.

Climb your first peak with a mountain guide – the Allalinhorn (4,027 m) is ideal for beginners and hard to miss.

From mid-April, the marmots awaken! On the Spielboden or in the Stafelwald, you can marvel at the tame and hearty animals all summer long. With a bit of luck, the marmots can be fed by hand with carrots or nuts.
