Excursion on the glacier

This breathtaking tour over the Fee Glacier leaves no one cold. From the Längfluh Mountain Station, the trail over untouched powder leads up to the panorama platform. Fitted out with snowshoes, ski poles and a climbing harness, you will pass giant ice jags and glacier crevices while roped to a mountain guide and then make your way down to the Spielboden Station.

The tour takes 4-5 hours. The glacier tour is offered in winter according to the schedule of the Längfluh cable car.

In summer, the tour is done with crampons. It is just as impressive in summer as in winter.

It is not only in Saas-Fee that you can experience the glacier world up close: The Hohsaas at 3200 metres altitude offers one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Alps. There you will also find the entrance to the Trift Glacier, whose magnificent ice formations invite you to take an impressive glacier hike. The tour is ideal for groups, families and clubs and takes about 2.5 hours.
