Accessible travel

Whether guests with limited mobility, visitors with a disability or families with buggies, everyone can have a great time in the Saas-Fee/Saastal holiday region.

Many accommodations allow barrier-free holidays and even the Mittelallalin at 3500 m a.s.l. can be reached easily: The world's highest underground train takes you to the highest revolving restaurant in the world, where you can see the highest Swiss mountain right in front of you: the 4545 m high Dom. The Kreuzboden/Hohsaas area above Saas-Grund is also accessible without barriers; from there, you can see the wonderful panorama of the Mischabel chain with 18 four-thousand-metre peaks!

The OK:GO initiative aims to ensure that every tourism provider in Switzerland makes information about the accessibility of their offer available to the public. Learn more about the initiative here.
