Winter hiking

A walk in the snowy landscape of the Saas Valley is a must! Explore our 60km winter hiking network. A moment of pure joy in nature!

Attention: It can be icy and slippery on all trails. We recommend shoe spikes for winter hiking.

Note the status of the winter hiking trails below!

Some sections are closed:

  • Winter Suntrail/Carl Zuckmayer Trail: Rest. Alpenblick first section hiking trail, diversions via the groomed trail.

Information open winter hiking trails:

  • Kreuzboden - Saas-Grund: some icy spots
  • Hannig mountain hike and Suntrail: some icy spots in the lower section

Important !

Please take the following points into consideration when winter hiking:

  • Observe the signs of the avalanche warning service and which paths are closed.
  • Do not leave any waste behind in nature.
  • Always keep your dog on a leash.
  • Do not leave the marked paths so as not to disturb the wildlife.
  • Leave hiking trail markings
