Instead of in the evening, the hike can also be undertaken in the morning and rewarded with a sumptuous breakfast on the wintry Mattmarksee.

➝ Kian's adventure land

For families, fun and adventure are guaranteed in Kian's Adventure Land: a tepee, an igloo with children's films, a free snowtubing track for the whole family, children's Skidoos and a carousel with a playground offer the ultimate combination of nature, action and entertainment. Above Saas-Almagell is the adventure land of the dragon Kian, which is open daily. Here parents can relax while the little ones let off enough steam in exciting sports adventures.

➝ Heimischgarte Trail

The Heimischgarte Trail leads through charming alpine hamlets and invites you to discover the Alps in winter. After about 9 km, you pass several alps and enjoy a dreamy winter landscape above Saas-Balen and Saas-Grund with a view of the beautiful Mischabel chain. Snowshoe hikers will find a break from the hustle and bustle of the pistes in the countless white mountain peaks.
