As an alternative to the cancelled Mattmark Memorial 2024, running enthusiasts can tackle the four distances 8K, 21K, 30K and 50K on their own from 21 September to 27 October. Participants will not only receive a free finisher's bag, but will also be able to win attractive prizes.

Arrival

We may be practically at the southernmost tip of Switzerland, but your journey to us couldn't be easier: Change trains once by public transport. Unique scenery is included! There are direct train connections to Visp from all major Swiss cities. Then, take the 511 bus to the Saas Valley. The journey takes three hours from Zurich, Geneva and Basel, and from Bern, it takes two hours. If you travel by car, there are plenty of parking spaces in the car-free village of Saas-Fee in the large multi-storey car park directly at the entrance to the village.
