Biker's paradise
The Saas Valley is a real insider tip in the mountain bike scene. With around 80 kilometres of trails, there is something for everyone, whether you prefer easy or challenging routes. The Kreuzboden/Hohsaas area in particular provides well-developed trails from the Bike Skills Park training course to the challenging Hohsaas Trail descent, while the other areas of the Saas Valley have numerous singletrail options. The various trails reveal ever-changing views of the impressive four-thousand-metre peaks of the Saas Valley. Many trails pass by or end in glacial lakes - a welcome opportunity to cool off.
Clear maps with all routes are available in our tourist offices. In the Saas Valley, you can also hire mountain bikes and e-bikes or take part in guided bike tours.

Take a break during the e-bike tour with us in the holiday destination Saas-Fee/Saastal to recharge the batteries and e-bikes. Don't forget the charger and adapter for the charging stations!

For the first time in Upper Valais, we are offering a unique supra-regional product for all bikers. The bike pass gives you unlimited access to the participating mountain railways - with your bike, of course. This gives you the opportunity to discover the Upper Valais bike parks for an entire summer with a single pass.

Biking on Kreuzboden/Hohsaas
The Kreuzboden-Hohsaas area is virtually predestined for scenically impressive, varied tours due to its topography with high alpine character. The view of 18 four-thousand-metre peaks alone and the 1600 metres in altitude that have to be overcome between Hohsaas and Saas-Grund are unique.
Bike Skills Park Kreuzboden
The Kreuzboden Bike Skills Park above Saas-Grund has been delighting numerous visitors since 2021 and has established itself as a popular highlight for bike fans. On three varied short trails, each around 380 metres long, young and old get their money's worth. A conveyor belt takes bikers back to the starting point in comfort.
Saas Valley Bike School
At the Saas Valley Bike School, local guides show you the most adventurous places in the Saas Valley and are on hand with tips and tricks. During the school holidays in summer and autumn, the youngest guests are also encouraged in the Kids Bike League. Discover the various courses.
