Cross-country skiing

Well-maintained cross-country trails lead through snow-covered larch forests and along the wintry Vispa, surrounded by imposing four-thousand metre peaks. Cross-country skiing in the Saas Valley means enjoying nature and training in high alpine surroundings.

The cross-country skiing trails in the Saas Valley are open from mid-December to the end of March (depending on temperatures and snow conditions). If there is enough snow, there are 23 km of classic and skating trails.

Please note that parts of the cross-country ski trail are also used as winter walking paths, meaning that cross-country skiers and walkers share the same route.
