Experiences on the mountain

We offer many unique experiences on the mountain all summer long!

When you buy a Metro Plus ticket (Mittelallalin), you pay a one-time fee and can  travel to the Mittelallalin as often as you like during your stay and visit the highest revolving restaurant in the world as well as the ice pavilion (if it is open). This offer is only valid with a SaastalCard and for the Felskinn - Mittelallalin section.

You have the option of uploading the ticket directly to your SaastalCard, or you can go directly to the ticket office of the mountain railway with the booking confirmation.

Early in the morning to the highest point of Saas-Fee? We make it possible. A hearty breakfast in the Allalin revolving restaurant and the first rays of sunrise are the ideal way to fill up your energy levels. Please note that the start times may vary.

You have never fished before? The small mountain lake at Kreuzboden is just the right place to gain your first fishing experience. You will receive the fishing equipment from us. An experienced angler will introduce you to the secrets of fishing.

Have your catch prepared directly in the mountain restaurant Kreuzboden. CHF 20.- for adults and CHF 10.- for children.
For CHF 5.- you can also just have your fish vacuum-packed

The cows spend the summer on the Triftalp. Of course they are happy about our visit. As is the alpine dairyman in charge, whom we can watch making cheese. He will tell us a lot about his hard everyday life on the alp. We meet at the valley station in Saas-Grund and travel together to the Trift intermediate station, from where it is a 10-minute walk to Triftalp. Here we meet the alpine dairyman or the cheese maker and take a short break. We return individually by train or on foot to Saas-Grund.

Pure action in the holiday region Saas-Fee/Saastal

With THREE scooter routes, rapid descents and pure action are guaranteed in the holiday region Saas-Fee/Saas Valley.

From Furggstalden a 3.5 km long wide and easy tarred road leads down to Saas-Almagell. From Hannig you can take a scooter along a 5.5 km long natural road through a wonderful landscape to Saas-Fee. And from Kreuzboden down to Saas-Grund the ultimate downhill kick awaits you for 11 km - on monster scooters!

Experience an exciting day with us in the Kreuzboden - Hohsaas area. Together with your family, you decipher riddles about the Saas Valley, put your dexterity to the test and reveal the secret solution code. After a successful tour, you will receive your reward at the valley station. The family day can be planned individually and lasts around 2 to 4 hours.
