The Ice Climbing World Cup in the Saas-Fee car park has long been established among athletes and numerous fans. In 2026, not only will the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup take place in Saas-Fee, but also the European Championships at the same time!

Ice climbing as a competitive sport is still a relatively new trend, yet Saas-Fee can already look back on numerous successful events. Saas-Fee has been a World Cup venue since 2000 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025. The new anniversary roof (10 m) extends to the ceiling of the car park, reaching a total height of 32 m.

There is a heated catering tent offering a variety of hot and cold dishes, folk music and LiveView. In addition to a cosy wine bar, the event features two bars that invite you to linger and warm up, also with LiveView.

Night bus

On Sunday morning at 3:00 am, a night bus departs from Post Saas-Fee towards Brig. A night taxi service is also available between the villages in the Saas Valley (+41 27 948 04 80).
