What is the Mobility Ticket?
Free arrival and departure
The Mobility Ticket makes traveling to the Valais easier, more sustainable, and more appealing. Anyone who stays at least two nights at a participating partner establishment between May 1 and October 31, 2026, will receive a free round-trip ticket on public transportation from their Swiss residence to their accommodation.
This way, your vacation in Saas-Fee/Saastal can begin even before you arrive: without a car, without the hassle of finding parking, and with more time for nature, relaxation, and mountain adventures.

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO), and the University of St. Gallen (HSG) are conducting a survey on the travel habits of tourists in Valais in collaboration with Valais/Wallis Promotion. Your answers are invaluable for obtaining meaningful results—the questionnaire takes about 10 minutes to complete. All participants will be entered into a drawing for two vouchers worth CHF 500.– each for a future stay in Valais, redeemable at the Valais/Wallis Promotion shop. Participation is voluntary; all information will be strictly anonymized, used exclusively for scientific purposes, and analyzed without any reference to individual persons.
