Täschhütte

A warm welcome
The Täschhütte is a mountain hut in the Valais Alps. It is located at 2701 m.a.s.l. in the midst of the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Mischabel group on the Rinderberg, at the foot of the Alphubel-Rotgrat as well as above the Täschalp and the valley community of Täsch.

The Täschhütte is situated in a top alpine landscape, in one of the southern valleys of the Valais. On one side there is a high alpine, on the other a micro climate that makes every plant and animal loving heart beat faster. Medicinal herbs, rare protected plants and of course our house flower, the edelweiss, are present at every step. For some time now, the mighty bearded vulture has been circling very close to the hut. The stone deer and the marmots are our closest neighbours.

Fauna and Flora
Here you will find: Alpine herbs, edelweiss, ibex, chamois and of course marmots.
