The 19th traditional valley race between the different Saas communities takes place in March 2014.

Since they were first staged in 1996, the annual valley races have become an important occasion on the Saas calendar. Over the years the event has developed into a fantastic ski party.
The ski clubs of the five Saas municipalities take it in turns to organise the races. In 2013 the races take place in Saas-Balen. Organised by the Ski Club Alpenrösli, they were in the form of a giant slalom run.
The really special thing about these races is that anyone can take part - from tiny tots to 80-somethings.
The races are open for everyone.
