STRAHLHORN FROM BRITANNIA HUT

Spring at the bottom - winter feeling in the hights. Enjoy best ski touring conditions in April/Mai.

From April, 23rd the Felskinn cable-car is running daily at 4.30 pm, saturdays also at 7.30 am and bring you up to the Britanniahut.

Strahlhorn - the perfect touring mountain for all well-trained ski mountaineers.
After an overnight stay in the Britannia refuge, the tour can start in the early morning.

The mountain guide will accompaigne you over the Allalin glacier until you will arrive at the Adlerpass (3789m) where you can enjoy a first look at the Monte Rosa group.

The last ascent to the peak leads over a broad ice field to the summit ridge. Only a few metres to the summit cross left and the spectacular panoramic view over Northern Italy to the Po Valley on clear days will reward you for the hard physical work before.

Summer tours

Allalin, Weissmies, Nadelhorn and some other tours are again ready for summer climbs from Mid-June. For more information and offers please get in contact with the Saas-Fee Guides.
