Come and celebrate Swiss National Day with us!

At the Swiss National Holiday, various festive activities take place in the Valley of Saas. 

Saas-Fee
Beside folkloristic performances of some associations of Saas-Fee as the folkloristic dance group, the alphornfriends of the glacier village, the yodelling club Gletscherecho, the Music of old times and the wind orchestra Alpenrösli a music band will be setting the mood and invite for a swinging evening. 


Saas-Grund
In 2012 the village of Saas-Grund organises the 44rd street-parade with the motto "Life in the olden times in the Saas Valley". How were baskets made? How was the typical Saas "Chreeshut" (hat) made? How did the first visitors arrive in the Saas Valley? Over 35 very impressively decorated floats display the customs and traditions of the people of the Saas Valley. 


Saas-Almagell
Also in Saas-Almagell, there will be festivities on the Swiss National Day with entertainment, food & baverage and performances of the local associations.


And also in Saas-Balen the traditional festivities will take place.


Further information about the Swiss National Day will be given at the latest at the beginning of July 2013.
