The large Felskinn cable-car goes from the Biffig section of Saas-Fee to Felskinn, which is at 3000m above sea-level.

The rapidly increasing number of tourists and a keen pioneering spirit led to the large project of building the Felskinn cable-car in 1964.
Felskinn is the starting point for the hike to the Britannia Hut. This alpine hike is well worth undertaking in both summer and winter.
