The modern 8-person gondola-lift takes you from Saas-Grund to Kreuzboden. A 8-person gondola-lift continues up to Hohsaas.
The Hohsaas mountain transport system gives access to a spectacular mountain area in both winter and summer.
In summer the high-altitude Hohsaas und Kreuzboden area has hiking trails and high-altitude paths with lovely viewpoints where you can see the 18 four-thousand-metre peaks of the Mischabel chain and the Monte-Rosa massif.
In winter more than 100 hectares of groomed, varied pistes and more than 35km of long runs await you. The ski area stretches from 1560m above sea-level in Saas-Grund to 3100m at Hohsaas. The "Ziebel" lift is especially well placed for beginners and invites you to enjoy a leisurely get-together in the village. During opening times you will also find there a small bar offering refreshments.
