"Swiss Glacier World" adventure land
Probably the highest playground in the world on the Mittelallalin
"Swiss Glacier World" is a snowtubing and ski-doo park for kids and families.
At 3,500m above sea level, surrounded by the highest peaks in Switzerland and a majestic panorama of glaciers, every visit guarantees an experience like no other.
As well as a circuit where adrenaline-seekers can whizz round on a special mini Ski-Doo, there is a magic carpet lift to transport visitors easily up to the start of the tubing run.
The specially designed and perfectly secured tubing slope guarantees a fast and fun-filled descent, with a real race atmosphere provided by start and finishing arches. Foam snowmen spin around comically when they are bumped, adding extra fun to the run. On the Ski-Doo course, traffic signs provide directions - giving kids a bit of practice for later in life!
On busy days, a fun jungle-themed noughts and crosses game in the waiting room makes sure nobody gets bored.
From summer 2016, Saastal Bergbahnen is providing its younger guests with even more fun and frolics. Kids can jump around in the bouncy castle on the Mittelallalin terrace, or test their skills on the children’s ropes course – a new 4.5-metre-high course equipped with safety lines especially for kids, where parents can watch and accompany their little ones from the ground.
The Swiss Glacier World adventure land now has even more to offer:
- Fairy Carriage - the cinema experience
A child-friendly film is available for all children in our newly designed fairy carriage. A cinema experience in the glacier world of Saas-Fee that no child should miss.
- Tyrolienne - the highest in Europe at 3,500 metres above sea level
The skidoo park can now be easily reached via the tyrolienne. The tyrolienne starts out on the terrace where other activities such as the bouncy castle, children's rope park and the remote-controlled PistenBully obstacle course are also to be found. Secured by our trained staff, you can make the 295-metre dash over to the mini skidoos at speeds of up to 40km/h. Assuming you’re not scared of heights that is. The tyrolienne is for children aged 7 and above.
|Opening hours||1st July – 20th August 2017, 10.30am – 2.30pm (Depending on weather conditions, parts of the park may be closed).|
